  1. This file is a set of ppm pictures that modify the death sequence of the
  2. former soldiers, sargeants, imps and demons in DOOM. A new wound has been
  3. added to each of the monsters so that they die in a more bloody fashion
  4. (the imp for example has his right arm taken off just below the elbow).
  5. The sequence for death is as a result of being hit by a non-rocket weapon
  6. (the rocket death sequence is too good to improve upon).
  7.         The files are in PPM format and require the very useful DMGRAPH
  8. program provided by Bill Neisius (and I believe available on most doom ftps). 
  9. First, save the orginal pictures by using the SAVE.BAT file. This batch 
  10. file (along with all the pictures, dmgraph and the main DOOM.WAD file in 
  11. the same directory) will extract the original pictures and store them in 
  12. PPM format. All of the new pictures are given the letter x in front of 
  13. their name so that they are not overwritten by the SAVE.BAT file. Never-
  14. the-less, the REPLACE.BAT will properly insert them.
  15.         Next, run the REPLACE.BAT batch file and this will replace the
  16. original pictures with the new ones.
